Scholarship for High School Seniors
Continental Societies offers a $1000 scholarship locally and a $1,000 scholarship regionally. The scholarships are available to deserving high school seniors.

“You are what you eat” is a popular concept – one that both children and adults should be mindful of. On Thursday, February 8, a group of enthusiastic first graders and parents from Charleston Progressive Academy were treated to a mini seminar on healthy eating by the Charleston Chapter of Continental Societies, Inc.
Presented under the title “You are What You Eat,” the event was engaging and interactive with discussions, readings, lively displays, and a food bingo game. Healthy snacks and gift bags were also provided to the participants by the Continentals. Continental Societies is an international public service organization dedicated to the socioeconomic and cultural welfare of underprivileged children and youth. Through its Five-Point Programs of Health, Education, Employment, Recreation, and Humanities, the organization strives to support youth through programs like this as well as scholarships.
